About the Role:

We are looking for someone who is confident, creative, attentive to details, and team oriented. This entry level position will start off with a primary focus in supporting the Senior Design team with ancillary furniture specifications and library management. Additional responsibilities will require proposal development and space planning in AutoCAD.


What You’ll Do:

  • Support Senior Design team with their daily tasks

  • COM Approval requests

  • Order finish samples for clients and Interscape library

  • Ancillary furniture specifications in AutoCAD and/or CAP 2020

  • Generate product cut sheets and proposal material for presentations.

  • Maintain the library by keeping organized and updated with current literature and finishes.

  • Assist with upholstery and finish selections.

  • Continually advance your knowledge on available product solutions and workplace trends to be a trusted resource for the design and sales team.


The Right Applicant for This Role Has:

  • A degree in Interior Design or entry level experience in the commercial furniture industry.

  • A positive attitude, a strong work ethic and is self-motivated.

  • Capability to prioritize responsibilities with the appropriate level of urgency, able to solve problems, anticipate issues and make correct decisions based on a variety of situations

  • The capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines consistently.

  • Superior communication skills; verbal and written; able to listen effectively to solve problems, anticipate issues and make effective decisions.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work as part of an effective team and independently.

  • Methodical, accurate and consistent attention to detail

  • Ability to commute to the office several days a week

  • Experience of AutoCAD, Sketchup, CAP Studio and Microsoft Office will be beneficial.
