Architectural Walls Specialist/Project Manager

About the Role:

This role is multi-faceted with focus on overseeing all aspects of our architectural wall projects, from initial client consultation to project completion, along with being a contract furniture Project Manager. Your role is pivotal in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. Your strong project management skills and exceptional communication abilities will be essential in exceeding our clients' expectations.

We are looking for someone who is well organized and able to tackle many tasks at one time.  They will have a desire for an extremely high level of customer service and seek to communicate often and deliberately both with clients and internally. Interscape will provide a vehicle for all work travel and servicing needs.

 

What You’ll Do:

As Architectural Walls Specialist, you will support activities that include pre-sale strategy, take-offs, quoting, proposal development, value engineering, procurement, logistics, project management and installation. Requires interfacing with customers, manufacturers, architects and contractors. Collaborate with Interscape resources in sales, marketing, design, project management, order management, finance and operations to achieve successful project execution, customer satisfaction and financial targets.

 

As Project Manager, you will have oversite of field activities across all market segments supporting furniture, architectural walls, and any other installation services being provided.  Responsibilities will be to work closely with sales and project coordinators in ensuring proper execution from beginning to end of any installation.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, including budget, design preferences, and timelines.

  • Create detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

  • Coordinate with internal design and sales teams to ensure client needs are met.

  • Oversee installation crews, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and safely.

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality of installations.

  • Provide clear and timely communication to clients on project status and updates.

  • Resolve any project-related issues or challenges in a proactive and professional manner.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and financial records.

  • Ensure projects are completed within scope, on time, and within budget.

 

The Right Applicant for This Role Has:

  • Strong knowledge of contract furniture systems and installation processes.

  • Proven experience in project management.

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.

  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional project teams.

  • Outstanding organizational skills and a results-driven mindset.

  • A positive attitude, a strong work ethic and be self-motivated

  • Capability to prioritize responsibilities with the appropriate level of urgency, able to solve problems, anticipate issues and make correct decisions based on a variety of situations

  • The capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines consistently

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work as part of an effective team and independently

  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
